Third Charm Training Center prides itself on helping horses understand and enjoy their work so that they can fulfill their potential and provide many years of enjoyment for their owners. Green horses start on the ground, combining natural horsemanship with commonsense principles. Horses learn to longe, accept sidereins, ground drive, and are desensitized to various objects. Under saddle, horses are trained according to classical principles utilizing the "pyramid of training". Over fences, quietness and understanding are promoted with a careful progression of cavalleti and gridwork tailored to the individual horse's needs. Cross-country schooling is aimed at producing the delicate balance between 'listening to the rider' and 'thinking for oneself' that results in the safest possible cross-country mount.

We accept horses of all levels for training, from barely-handled youngsters to campaign-ready show horses. Training horses are schooled exclusively by Third Charm's trainer, Jennifer Sullivan-Holder, through all phases of the training process.

Training Board: $550, includes board and five schools per week.
We also accept select horses for training board on a sales/commission basis.
