LOSE THAT competing Novice with YR Ashley Nee

"He's FABULOUS"--Dressage test comment by Barbara Marks, "R" dressage judge & TD      (Rider Ashley Nee, score: 29)

Pedigree and looks are not the only things Lose That has to offer. He is also accomplished performer in the Olympic disciplines. Lose That started out his post-racing career as an event horse, then segued into showjumping (the lure of prize money). After a profitable three-year stint of showjumping, Lose That was injured in a traffic accident. This resulted in a two-month layup and a refocussing on his owner's first love, eventing. He recoverd to place well at several Horse Trials at Training Level, both with his owner/trainer and a Junior rider.

Lose That had a few promising outings at Preliminary before being sidelined temporarily by arthritic changes resulting from his 1998 injuries.  Now 17 years old, he is back in full work carrying Third Charm students in competition.  So far in 2007 he has won two outings --Novice at the Ark with Ashley Nee, and a Maiden schooling HT with Jordan Lemmond, both on his dressage scores.

In Show Jumping, Lose That competed through the Preliminary level, which continued through his eventing training. He has competed in the 3'6" Junior/Amateur Jumpers with students. He is always in the money and shows a great deal of talent, jumping 5'3" with ease in training.

Lose That also competed in Dressage through Second Level and has schooled Third. His temperament is so exceptional, in fact, that no fewer than eight junior riders have shown him in Dressage, Show Jumping, and Eventing competition.

His 2002 filly, Spirit of Kildalton, is competing successfully at Novice with amateur rider Jean Grizzell.

Lose That's 2007 stud fee is $500 LFG.

Special consideration is available for proven performance or broodmares, or mares owned by 4-H or Pony Club members.

Please call for a video or to schedule a visit.

A copy of his stud contract is available online.
