Third Charm Training Center is a private facility and offers board on a very limited basis to clients interested in joining the lesson program and pursuing competition goals in Eventing, Show Jumping, and Dressage.

The concrete-aisled main barn houses thirteen stalls, an indoor wash stall with hot and cold water, a tack room, a lounge, and 30x48' loft for storage. Feed is kept in a separate building adjacent to the barn.

Immediately behind the barn is a lighted all-weather riding arena with dressage letters and jumps and multi-level cross-country jumps throughout the woods and pastures.   There is also a stadium jumping field with a course that is changed regularly.

Highly visible white, four-board wooden fencing fronts the roads, reinforced with electric on the inside to provide maximum security. Cross-fencing is a mix of wood and extra-wide electric tape (on wooden posts for safety), depending on the use of a particular area. Adjacent to the main barn are 2 paddocks for horses requiring individual turnout.

There are four main turnout pastures. Future plans include creating more paddocks near the barn with footing similar to the all-weather arena, for use during wet weather. This will prevent damage to the pastures, and boarders and students will not have to brave mud to catch their horses! Continuing efforts to improve the footing in the gate areas have already reduced this problem significantly.

Third Charm horses are expertly shod on a five-week schedule by BWFA certified farrier Dwayne Holder.  Jennifer Holder passed the BWFA Certification exam with flying colors in November 2007, and has started shoeing many Third Charm horses.  This has turned out to be extremely helpful when a horse loses a shoe right before a show or lesson!

Jennifer, who is an active competitor, teaches lessons and provides training services.  She continues to further her education by riding with international level trainers on a regular basis.

Board is $400/month for full board. Full board includes roughage (currently alfalfa cubes due to the hay shortage)  throughout the day, twice-daily grain feedings, worming every other month, blanketing and turnout. Supplements are fed as provided by owners.

Training board is $650/month including all the above plus five rides per week BY THE TRAINER, not a student or assistant.
