Andrea Stark and Shelby (aka Isis)
Andrea and Isis on their way to competing their first Training Level HT at Fare Well Farm.
Andrea started as a working student and aspiring eventer at Third Charm in June 2002. With her came
Shelby, a young Standardbred/TB mare who walked, trotted, cantered, paced, and had started over a few fences.
Although dressage was never Shelby's strong suit-- her canter tended to be
lateral due to her gaited heritage--she became a solid Training level packer and
is now carrying another rider in competition.
Andrea went on to compete
Test Flight, an Irish Sporthorse mare, at Training Level; unfortunately it
turned out that the horse had arthritic changes in her spine and she had to be
retired. Meanwhile Andrea had acquired Shogunsrisingson, an ex-endurance
racing Arabian. Shogunsrisingson, aka "Lloyd" is now competing
at Training and will be moving up to Preliminary in Spring '07.
Andrea's newest horse, Holly, is an OTTB acquired in December '06.

Lose That
(pix coming soon!)
A graduate of Stoneleigh-Burnham School and a former working student for
Torrance Watkins, Ashley now rides at Third Charm on a variety of horses.
After losing her mare Lightfoot in a freak accident, she purchased Vanity
Fair's 2004 filly, dubbed Vanity's Revenge. She won the NCDCTA HT Open
Novice with Vanity Fair, is currently competing Vanity Fair at 2nd level
dressage and TB stallion Lose That in eventing.
Lara Chance and Red Knight
Lara recently moved to the Charlotte area to attend Johnson and Wales
University. She had competed Red at BN, and has made huge strides in
improving her dressage scores and xc confidence. She has now moved up to
Novice with great success, already qualifying for the 2007 AECs, and is
planning on moving up to Training soon.
Teri Manno and Pocket Change
Purchased literally for the amount of money Teri had in her pocket,
"Chester" has proven an excellent bargain. He and Teri are
looking forward to returning to Novice competition after an injury-induced
hiatus this fall!
Katy Bradley and Lady In Waiting
In their first year of eventing, Katy and Lady started out at Novice and quickly moved up, handily winning the Jr. Training division at St. George's Quarters
twice in a row. Despite doing only six events that year, they placed well enough to put them in fourth place in the USEA Area 2 Jr Training point standings. They
competed at Preliminary through 2004 and 2005, placing at most of their
events. Katy is now a sophomore at Virginia Tech.
Cydney Gilbert and Late as Usual
Cydney, a Concord police offier, did most of the training on Third Charm-bred
"Hershey". They have competed succesfully through Novice and
will be returning to recognized competition in 2007.
Pam Hall and Lose That
A former jumper rider, Pam is now more interested in dressage and is shown
participating in a clinic with Jennifer Baumert aboard Lose That, Third Charm's
TB stallion.
Ashley Bell and Maximum Bob
Ashley and Bob competed succesfully in eventing and show jumping before Ashley
went off to college. Bob has gone on to show another rider the ropes!
